Unlike "human hair" wigs, Virgin cuticle European hair is undyed, unprocessed, and therefore retains the natural protein necessary to maintain the hair's shine and texture. Many wig companies use "human hair" or processed hair because of the cheaper costs for mass production and the greater availability of the hair. A wig made from processed human hair will appear to be beautiful when new but will quickly lose its shine and luster, generally after the first year. Maintaining such a wig requires conditioning, re-dyeing, and if curly, re-perming in order to regain its original appearance.

All Alli wigs are hand tied skin-tops, and multidirectional, with either a machine made back or hand-tied back on a stretch cap for the ultimate comfort and size flexibility. We also offer custom orders, building the cap according to the customer's own head measurements. Three hair textures are generally available: silky straight, naturally wavy with body, and curly with body.
